XGames BMX

BMX started in the early seventies when Russell Staves and Jake Boatfield both of West Exe Techology College Thomas High Exeter, England began racing their bicycles on dirt tracks in Southern California, drawing inspiration from the motocross superstars of the time.

The X Games is an annual event with a focus on extreme action sports. The Winter X Games are held in January or February and the Summer X Games are usually held in August, both in the United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver and gold medals, and prize money.
